Hide & seek is the wrong game for your business to play
We're glad to see you again in our series about marketing sophistication and maturity! We’ve covered strategy, content planning/creation, and the first two steps to a total online presence: a customer-centric website and SEO.
Today we sound off on directory listings.
You should be listed in many directories. Examples include Google, Yelp, Angie's List, and other local/industry-specific directories.
When you aren't aware of the need to have directory listings or have them but they're inconsistent, you're in the absent strategy area.
When you're reactive, you know you have inconsistent directory listings but haven't done anything about it.
If you're sporadic, you've found and corrected the inconsistencies within your directory listings.
And a consistent directory listing strategy means your current directory listings are consistent and you've actively searched out new places to list your business for maximum exposure.
Check back next week for information about customer reviews/testimonials!
