After our last few emails, you should know if your marketing, content planning/creation, and total online presence strategies are absent, reactive, sporadic, or consistent.

Today, we’re going to talk about a calendar, and how much you need one.

You’ll never get to the “consistent” stage – of anything, ever – if you don’t live and die by a calendar. Scheduling it makes you more likely to do it.

If you have no calendar at all or are unaware that you need one, you are in absent strategy territory.

When you know you need a calendar but either don’t have one or assume that it should hold your annual goals versus scheduled activities, you have a reactive strategy.

If you’ve created a calendar but don’t manage it, update it, or adhere to it, you’re getting a little closer, with a sporadic strategy.

And for those of you who have created a calendar, keep it updated based on analytics, and live and die by it – congratulations, you’re in the consistent zone!
