Welcome back! (To our series about marketing sophistication and maturity, that is.) We’ve covered strategy, content planning/creation, and a total online presence.
Today's topic? Social media!
Quote from last week: "people don't trust businesses, they trust people. They want a product someone like them has tried and liked ..." (This is so important it gets two weeks' worth of attention!)
It's pretty unlikely that you don't know what social media is, so if your strategy is absent in this case, you aren't participating in any social media.
Do you have a social media account or two? Post occasionally? You're getting closer with a reactive strategy.
When you're sporadic, you understand the importance of social media, have a few accounts and are exploring others, and have researched the best times/things to post.
A consistent strategy finds your social media fully "on point" – you use the platforms your customers use, you know when to post what and where, and you have participating followers.
